Hello Stephanie!  Happy Autumn. Here in Nova Scotia it is a very hot week, pool weather actually, unheard of here. I still have 16 pepper plants in pots on our deck and they continue to blossom and produce in this warm weather. My abundance of red peppers called for your red pepper soup. Oh my goodness it is tasty tasty. I can’t stop dipping into it as I wait for dinner. I agree, that soy sauce and hot sauce just adds something to this soup, hard to pin point other than a brightness and a punch. Love the brown sugar instead of white, adds to the depth of flavour. Award winning indeed. Thank you for sharing your recipe Stephanie. My hubby and I love it.

Hi Vanessa! You can either combine 5 cups of water (hot so that it dissolves), with 5 teaspoons of Better Than Bouillon and add that to the soup, or you can add 5 cups of water to the soup pot and stir in 5 teaspoons of Better Than Bouillon! 🙂 Can’t wait for you to try this recipe!

In this recipe, if I use the Better than Bouillon, do I add 1 teaspoon (times 5) per 1 cup of water (times 5) to substitute for the 5 cups of broth that’s called for in the recipe or just add 5 teaspoons of the product straight into the soup ? I’ve always used canned broth and never used the the Better than Bouillon product before so I’m not familiar with its use. Please let me know because I’m anxious to make the Roasted Red Pepper Soup so I can give it 5 stars! :>) It L@@KS and sounds so delicious!
