Hi Stephanie! Did you drain your crab meat? It needs to be drained well before it’s added to the filling. Having a consistency like pancake mix means something was way off, it should be very firm, basically the same consistency as plain cream cheese. The only liquid that’s added to the mix is the Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce, and that only amounts to 1 teaspoon throughout 8 ounces of cream cheese.

Turned out pretty well, I wasn’t feeling accomplished as using one teaspoon felt like too much mix, but my mix was kind of runny!?

It wasn’t really sticky or like “ball like” it was more like pancake mix but I used the same crab meat, and brick of cream cheese softened. Any pointers?!

In reply to Ally.

I used a “fake” version of the crab. It was very sweet & delicious 😋

In reply to Jim B..

I can relate. They ate only cream cheese & green onion.

I love this! Thank you for sharing! When I bought the vegan wonton wraps I had no idea what I was doing. But I knew it would be cheaper & healthier if I made it. I’m immobilized right now & stuck up two flights of stairs. (Lucky for my knee scooter & my bf when hes able to be home) I used fat free cream cheese & low-sodium soy sauce; in the air fryer. I made mine with raw garlic & minced onion. It turned out fantastic. This was very informative. Thank you again!!

These are awesome! The usage of Worchester gives it that extra/subtle flavor bringing this recipe to a better-than-takeout status. Mods (based on what I had on hand): minced raw shrimp, didn’t use green onion, but used garlic chives, grated the garlic cloves, and added some mushroom powder (100% ground shitake mushrooms).

After making them, I did put rangoons in the fridge to “dry out” for about an hour (not necessary but it helps prevent splitting, provided air is pushed out when folding, along with ‘dry’ ingredients) and the rest in the freezer.

Yummy!
