Hi Barb! I’m sure you missed the intro to my post (I don’t blame you, who has time to read it all!)- but the reason I like to make it the way that I have pictured is so that the bacon gets crispy. This was originally a recipe that my mom gave me and she wrapped the bacon and put it right into the sauce to bake. It’s SO good but the bacon doesn’t get as crispy this way, so I modified it! (But the uncooked bacon gives the sauce a ton of flavor. It’s just not as crispy)- I hope you love it!

Thank you for replying right away. I should have asked you if I should put it on a rack above the sauce, so bacon crisps. I will put it in the pan just like you said. I’m sure it will be fine. Thanks again.

Hi Barb! No, you can wrap the uncooked
Bacon right around the uncooked chicken and pop it in the oven!
