The brown sugar  and seasonings flavored the sirloin cubes nicely.  Loved the mix of spices for the gravy.  Paired nicely with cozy mashed potatoes.  Would definitely make again.

So…..I started with another recipe before realizing it was with canned cream of mushroom soup. Not a fan of adding canned soups to a recipe. Just my preference as I was a caterer though college. So, after getting through a few steps, I switched to yours. OH MY GOODNESS! It is simmering now but that gravy flavor is truly divine!! Now I have to decide if it is going over mashed potatoes or wide egg noodles…Hmmmmm…….

This is such an easy recipe and is so good. I did a few substitutes, red onion instead of yellow (has a stronger onion taste to me), smoked paprika instead of regular paprika (my new season obsession), and because I didn’t have any red wine I used red wine vinegar which I googled and found that the red wine vinegar is an excellent substitute for red wine. But it all is so delicious and silky (the gravy). Yes all about the gravy. And the seasoning on the beef itself, it is divine, this will be quite a nice go to meal for the fall and winter. Thank you so much for sharing.
