I tried the recipe with minor changes such as two table spoon butter instead of six. I had just one cup of half and half so I substituted the half and half with whole milk. I balance consistancy by increasing the flour from two spoon to two heaping spoon. I also add one extra garlic clove. I also added fresh thyme and oregano as well as black pepper and it was the best tasting shrimp alfredo fettuccine ever!!!!

Made this for dinner tonight as I had made grilled steak and shrimp the night before and had it marinating I’m the fridge with garlic, pepper, and evoo. Best Alfredo sauce I’ve made this will be my new go to Alfredo sauce. Jammie from Battle Creek Mi.

I tried this and it did NOT disappoint!! Better than any restaurant alfredo I have had! Even my husband devoured it and he is not the biggest cream sauce fan. Will be my go-to celebration meal!
