I almost never review any recipes online, and I’m super picky about Italian food, but I had to come and say that this was amazing and delicious and easy, and we’ll definitely make it again! I was a little weirded out by the soy sauce and ground mustard, but glad I tried it.

Hey Shelly! I hear you on wanting to use up those ‘maters! I’m in the exact same boat. I used the majority of ours to make some marinara sauce the other week! But YES! You could make roasted tomatoes and use them for this! Depending on the variety, they might be a little more watery than canned tomatoes, so you may need to roast more than you think to end up with the equivalent, but they will be so much tastier than a can! 🙂 Enjoy!!
