Omgosh! Lost my old recipe, lucky me! This recipe is so super delish! Hit at our last blast of summer picnic. Thank you! Thank you! Only had two beers, so used soda water, came out tempura great. My bad…3 left over, joined me in bed at 1.00 am! Don’t hesitate doing this recipe.

This Is It. I’ve tried several ‘beer batters’, but when it come to “One Ring to Rule them All”… You’ve got a winner. I used a digital scale… followed the recipe exactly as written with no deviations. One fork to dip in and out of batter, and one fork to turn or lift them out. (tongs might be helpful here too.
I kept them warm, on the rack, in a 200 degree oven. Perfection!

I haven’t yet tried your sauce, but I will. The reason I haven’t is simple. A long time ago I was introduced to onion rings and Blue Cheese dressing as the sauce! I fell in love with it. Do you know how hard it is to find some place that makes onion rings AND has blue cheese dressing? Since then I’ve made up my own Asiago cheese sauce and also love that. Anyway, it’s another offering for your available sauces. Enjoy!

By far our favorite batter. Worked for cheese curds too (omitted corn starch). 

Wow.  This is THE PERECT recipe!  Thought I had a good one before, but thankfully I didn’t write it down and therefore went googling for it and instead found this one.  The addition of liberal spices made these delicious all on their own.  That being said, we paired this with bison butter burgers and rattlesnake sauce and they were a hit!  Thanks for a great recipe!  Made my husbands birthday dinner amazing!
