Hi Kimberly! Since there is 3/4 cup of cheese in this one, I feel like it would be lacking without it. There would still be plenty of flavor but the cheese also helps to thicken up the sauce. If you’re okay with a little less flavor and substance then you can do it! 🙂

I am back again.  I wanted to let you know I made this without any cheese and made it a Beef version. I used better than bouillon beef also.  I used chopped stew meat.  Omg it was so good.

Hands down the best dish. The flavors were amazing.  I told my hubby that often times a recipe sounds good but when cooked the spices are not enough to make an impact…. This did.  I didn’t not have half and half so I used half and whole milk and half heavy cream.   I omitted the cheeses as we don’t like cheese but other than that I went by the recipe.  I used the better than bouillon chicken to make the broth.  
This is a perfect dish and we have leftovers.  Dying to try more of your dishes.
