Roast Turkey, Chicken, or Glazed Ham
My Roast Turkey recipe will ensure that you have extra crispy results on the top and bottom with extra juicy meat that ensures that both the breast and thighs are cooked to ideal temperature. Make an easy pan gravy with the drippings at the end and dinner is done! I also have the BEST glazed ham recipe that you can try!

The most popular of these choices by far is Paula Deen’s Corn Casserole recipe, which is SO easy to put together and can be assembled 2 days ahead of time! Other options include:
Roasted Brussels Spouts, Spinach Pie, Cheesy Baked Broccoli, White Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms, Roasted Broccoli, and Creamed Spinach.
Macaroni and Cheese
There’s no shortage of Mac & Cheese options here! Paula Deen’s Macaroni and Cheese is a classic addition to the Thanksgiving table, Crock Pot Mac and Cheese is super creamy and convenient! Bread/Rolls
My Copycat Texas Roadhouse Rolls and Honey Butter are super popular on Thanksgiving! The rolls can be baked to near completion the day before and popped in the oven and brushed with butter before dinner is served!
And my Buttermilk Biscuits are a no-fail recipe (with no yeast!). These biscuits have flaky, buttery layers that your family will love. And perhaps the easiest of all: my Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits.
Which one will make it to your table!?
Gravy
There is no shortage of gravy recipes here! Make my easy turkey gravy recipe with any pan drippings you end up with, or make my brown gravy, chicken gravy, sausage gravy, or mushroom gravy with no drippings at all!
Stuffing
For a smaller and simpler Thanksgiving dinner, try my Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing! (Also Instant Pot friendly!) This recipe is SO easy and will leave you with plenty of time to spend with your family.
For an easy make-ahead stuffing that you can make up to 3 days ahead of time and cook in the Crock Pot or on the Stove Top, you have to try my Stuffing Casserole recipe (with green beans)! This one is so good.

Do you recommend any type of apples to put in it? Would you cut them or leave them whole?
Hi Sandy! To stuff the turkey with? I love using honeycrisp apples and I do slice them in half, any kind of apple is great though! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Love the ideas that I see
Thank you Charlie! I hope you get to try out a few this year! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Any tips to keep pumpkin pie from cracking?
Hey Kassie! Bake on a lower oven rack, and definitely don’t overbake it, (that what causes it to crack). Take it out of the oven per the recipe instructions even if you think it needs more time, it will continue to set when you take it out. This is a trusty recipe you can take a look at. Good luck and enjoy!!
Have you ever tried stuffing in an instant pot?
Hi Sandy! I have a Crock Pot Chicken and Stuffing recipe that’s instant pot friendly but I haven’t made just stuffing in there before, but here is a recipe I found for that!
Thanks for the link😊
